At the behest of Swiss Football Association (SFV/ASF) president
Ralph Zloczower and national councillor Norbert Hochreutener, the Switzerland
pro EURO 2008 programme has been founded.
Valuable support
The venture will involve an independent committee comprising 20 parliamentarians
working to achieve an ideal and positive political environment with regard
to UEFA EURO 2008T. The body will also offer support to the SFV/ASF in
its preparations for the final tournament in two summers' time.
Berne conference
During a one-day conference hosted by the SFV/ASF in Berne, the committee
was informed of the state of preparations for UEFA EURO 2008T, and also
of the association's Play Football, Switzerland campaign. Click for more
