ARSHAVIN: COUNTDOWN TO TALLINN
FC Zenit star Andrei Arshavin comments on the first official game of Russian
national team against Estonia.
Andrei Arshavin was one of the best players in Zenit encounter
with Rostov.
Zenith gained the first victory in Russian championship but not everything
goes so well in the team.
"We scored three times but then gave Rostov a chance to change the
coarse of the game," said Arshavin to Sport Express.
"We conceded a goal and then lost the strains of the game so Rostov
took the advantage."
"Such enthusiasm can make every team to work magic on the field and
play unexpectedly."
"I managed to reach mutual understanding with all players and our
cooperation with Zyryanov is a good example of this."
"Taking into account Zenit pre-season preparation we look better
now but maybe our opponents are not so strong."
"During the kick-off of Russian championship all leaders lost points
but sooner or later everybody will lose so it doesn't make any difference."
