SUKER: CROATIA WILL WIN AT HOME
Davor Suker is sure Croatia will win Euro-2008 qualifier against Russia.
"We have enough time at hand to change any situation",
said Suker to Sport Express.
"However I would agree with the majority that this match is very
important for us."
"If we celebrate the win I would consider our task to be fulfilled."
"Six points in two coming matches will secure the second place for
Croatia."
"Russia and England won't do without loss of points as they are to
meet face-to-face twice."
"That is why this win over the Russians is so important for Croatia
national side."
"The key objective for us is to qualify for the final tournament
in Austria and Switzerland."
"Our final place in the Group standings doesn't matter so much."
"Any team are to solve the task individually without taking into
account the other matches in our Group."
"The draw against Russia is also not bad result as in this case we
will keep the first place."
"But Croatia will play at home and this means our supporters will
be satisfied only with the victory."
"Frankly speaking I won't be happy if we share the points."
"Russia will come to Croatia to gain three points which would let
them take the leading positions."
"Their players are young and experienced so I have no doubts this
match will be breath taking and very tense."
