DASAEV TURNS FIFTY
Rinat Dasaev celebrates his anniversary today.
One of the world best players during the last hundred years
celebrates his fiftieth anniversary.
The match between the Soviet and the World national teams will take place
today and will mark the jubilee of the well-known goalkeeper.
"I am preparing for the jubilee match and of course I am nervous
about it", said Dasaev to Sport Express.
"Many people help me with the organization of this game but I also
have to solve a lot of issues."
"We invited many famous players to take part in my jubilee match
but not all of them agreed to come."
"As for my present form I can say that I try to be fit for playing."
"The key thing for me is that I have a job which I like very much."
"I help Georgy Yarstev in Torpedo but working in the First division
team is not the main factor."
"Many think that players have to face many unpleasant moments in
the First division however I can's say anything bad about the refereeing."
"In general I have an experience playing in the First league when
Spartak had meet the relegation back in 1977."
"So I would like to hope that Torpedo won't be stuck there for more
than one year."
