FRANCE hitman Louis Saha may not be fit to face Scotland in September's
crucial Euro 2008 qualifier after having knee surgery in the United States,
according to his former agent Ranko Stojic.
However, that claim has been rubbished by the Stellar Group, the Manchester
United star's current advisers.
They are insistent that Stojic has no authority to speak on their client's
behalf and he will be back in training and fit for the start of next season's
Premiership campaign.
An unrepentant Stojic said: "Louis had surgery on his knee in the
United States and won't be in action again for several months.
"He's been unlucky but it is extremely important now for Louis, Manchester
United and France that he gets back to 100 per cent fitness as quickly
as he possibly can.
"I really don't know when he will be able to start training again
but at the moment the target is for him to get back into action round
about November or December."
If Stojic is correct, the striker will miss France's away Euro 2008 tie
with world champions Italy on September 8 and the clash against Alex McLeish's
men in Paris four days later.
He would also be unlikely to feature in his country's October fixtures
against the Faroes and Lithuania.
