Cherchesov could make his debut for Spartak today as the
Moscow club are to meet Saturn in Premier Liga Matchday 14.
For Spartak it would be a wonderful chance to get out of bad luck and
grab three points.
However Moscow players should find it difficult to get the upper hand
over their opponents since Jiranek and Kovalchuk will miss the game through
injuries.
Mozart and Artyom Dzuba are unlikely to help their team for they have
been sent to the reserve.
Ahead of the debut match for the team new manager Spartak captain Egor
Titov spoke to Sport Express about his attitude for Cherchesov appointment.
"I clearly see that Cherchesov has already outlined what he wants
from us", said Titov to Sport Express.
"His views are close to those of Oleg Romantsev however Cherchesov
has his own ideas about football."
"I am sure he will put the task to achieve positive results with
Spartak."
"I have no doubts that we will manage to realize his task but now
players feel some kind of strain."
"Not all the players are happy with his appointment but Cherchesov
would like to establish strict discipline inside the team."
"And we can make no doubt that he will do everything possible to
see this task fulfilled."
"I spoke to Sergei Shavlo some time before Spartak sacked Vladimir
Fedotov and he expressed fair claims for the players."
"We agreed that only players are to blame for Spartak crisis situation
this season."
