Russian international is absolutely sure that CSKA would
be able to restore its former glory after the series of misfortunes.
Moscow club conceded five goals in three matches which helped them grab
only one point after Premier Liga Matchday 10 when they got the upper
hand over one of the campaign favorites Zenit Saint Petersburg.
However CSKA players have doubts that it is just a mere unkuck and there
is no reason for panic.
"We have a lot of things to think over", said Ignashevich to
Sport Express.
"Nobody should forget that we defend a great club with rich traditions
and that this very club made us professional players."
"Brazilian duo Vagner Love and Jo have to quit Russia to play for
their national team."
"Of course their absence negatively tells upon our performance creating
many problems with converting our scoring opportunities."
"Our first choice goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev is also out of action
so Veniamin Mandrykin had to replace them in the goal."
"At first we felt he was a bit nervous however after Zenit clash
he found his place on the field and acquired his former confidence."
"Supporters want CSKA to win and if we want to do this we should
concentrate on football and take the responsibility for every game we
take part in."
"My partners and I don't try to find any excuses for our unsuccessful
streak as we come out on the field in order to do our best and win."
"However when you begin to watch the tape after the match you understand
thee were some reasons, which prevented us from showing good football,
and perform on our usual level."
"But now it's not the right time to talk about it since we should
think about our chances in the Champions League and Russian Premier Liga."
"We must make right conclusions and try to correct our mistakes."
