Zenit-CSKA clash will be the key battle of Matchday 25
as it is sure to clarify at least something in Premier Liga title race.
However, Russian Football Union president Vitaly Mutko is convinced the
comign slugfest won't be able to determine the main candiate for the title.
"The teams will have to play five matches more and some of them will
be very important, Zenit-Lokomotiv, Zenit-FC Moskva clashes, Spartak's
match against FC Moskva and Saturn," said Mutko to Sport Express.
"The other clashed are also highly unlikely to be easy."
"I hope that Zenit and CSKa will present supporters a spectacle equal
to the one produced by Lokomotiv and Spartak."
"There are all the necessary prerequisites for good football: the
teams' players are in good shape, the match will be officiated by a foreign
referee which won't let anyone justify their defeat by the the referee's
prejudice."
"So I hope the clash will go down in history as a fair, eye-catching
slugfest in which the strongest celebrated a win."
"I don't think that we will see as many goals as we did in Lokomotiv-Spartak
clash."
"The teams will be concentrated on the result but football is not
only goals, so I hope the clash will be equally breath-taking."
"I will pay special attention to those players who will play England
in Euro-2008 qualifier: Vasily and Alexei Beresutskiy, Sergei Ignashevich,
Yuriy Zhirkov, Andrei Arshavin, Konstantin Zyryanov, Alexander Anyukov,
Pavel Pogrebnyak and probably Vyacheslav Malafeev."
"Their participation in the clash makes it extremely interesting
for supporters and don't forget about CSKA's Brazilians."
"So I think those who go to the stadium Saturday or spend two hours
watching the clash on TV won't be wasting time."
