ZYRYANOV WINS ZVEZDA AWARD IN NOVEMBER

The journalists of CIS and Baltic countries voted Zenit
halfback Konstantin Zyryanov the best player of November.
"I got offers from different clubs ahead of the season kick-off,
but I decided to join Zenit since I was sure this team would turn the
champions", said Zyryanov to Sport Express.
"At the same I was sure I would have to sit on the bench because
I didn't get prepare for the season with the team."
"Howver I got a chance to prove my worth to the coaching staff and
got a place in the line-up."
"I achieved almost exerything I could dream of with Zenit since we
lifted Premier Liga title and continue our UEFA Cup campaign."
"Zenit is a perfect team and I don't think of taking leave of the
club since I am convinced there is enough room for improvement."
"I should say this season was rather successful for me as I sealed
Premier Liga trophy and reached Euro-2008 play-offs with the national
side."
"However I would like to hope that my best season is still ahead."
