Juventus head coach Claudio Ranieri states there is no sense
in thinking about the possibility of Russian coaching job since Guus Hiddink
perfectly fulfills his duties in the national side.
"I am aware of rumors That Russian clubs were interested in my services,
but the only one person I discussed this issue was Lokomotiv president
Valery Filatov", said Ranieri to Sport Express.
"As for undertaking coaching job in the Russian championship I am
not sure whether I would agree to switch to the Russian league."
"But if speaking about managerial post in the Russian national team
I would have considered this issue."
"However now there is no sense in talking about this possibility
since Guus Hiddink proved his worth to the team after Russia squeezed
past England into Euro-2008 play-offs."
"The Dutch coaching school is rather successful and Guus Hiddink
is a professional and very lucky manager."
"As for England's newly appointed head coach Fabio Capello I should
say he is one of the best managers in the world."
"I think England Football Association made a right choice and I am
sure Capello will revive their national football."
