AKINFEEV: RUSSIA HAS A GOOD TEAM
Igor Akinfeev is set to defend Russia's goal at the summer European

CSKA first-choice goalkeeper missed major part of
the previous season through a serious injury, but the national side coaching
staff doesn't put his skills in doubt.
"We have enough time ahead of the European tournament and I am going
to play, but not to think about my chances to take part in Euro-2008",
said Akinfeev to Sport Express.
"I didn't return to full fitness at the end of the last year, however
now I feel I am practically at my best form."
"Russia's competitors at Euro will be the top European teams, but
I believe we will manage to show our best football there."
"I think we will prepare for the tournament correctly and learn our
future challengers' style of playing football."
