GABULOV: RESULT IS NOT THE KEY ISSUE

Amkar goalkeeper Vladimir Gabulov joined his national team
as the Russian campaign leader and will try to help Russia in tonight's
friendly clash against Romania.
"Of course it's very pleasant that my club heads the title-race,
however I wouldn't pay much attention to this fact since we played only
two games", said Gabulov to Sport Express.
"Amkar managed to leave our goal untouched in two matches and I believe
all players looked perfect in defence and helped me to stay firm in the
goal."
"I am happy I switched to Amkar from Kuban which relegated from the
Premier League though I didn't have enough time to settle my life in Perm."
"The team new manager Miodrag Bojovic is a coach of high European
class with modern view on football."
"The club bosses didn't set any particular targets for this campaign,
but our key task is to show better performance than in the last season."
"Romania friendly is the crunch game on our way to Euro-2008 finals
and we want to achieve positive result in Bucharest."
