PREMIER LIGA DAY 4: CSKA FALTER IN GROZNY
The favorites of the Premier Liga title race CSKA survived a shocking
defeat from the campaign debutants Terek in Grozny.

The Moscow club had a poor start of the season as they won
only two games and stole only one point from the league debutants Shinnik
and Terek.
Valery Gazzaev's champs traveled to Grozny to come up against Terek which
deprived the visitors of three points.
Valdmimir Kuzmichev was the only scorer in the game as he fired in a goal
behind Igor Akinfeev on the 65th minute.
The Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg suffered loss of points in
Yaroslavl as they draw the match against Shinnik.
Pavel Pogrebnyak and Anatoly Tymoschuk's goals in the first half of the
game gave the visiting side a comfortable 2-0 lead, however the hosts
were not satisfied with the state of things.
Maxim Buznikin came as a substitution after the break and cut the gap
to 2-1 through accurate strike from the penalty spot.
Shinnik newcomer Denis Boyarintsev shocked the St. Petersburg fans as
his late goal brought a valuable 2-2 draw and one point for his team.
Spartak Moscow also didn't manage to keep 1-0 lead in the clash against
Amkar as Nenad Injac replied to Roman Pavlyuchenko's goal stealing a point
from the Moscow opposition.
Moskva vs. Khimki encounter opened the Matchday 4 on Friday and the match
ended with 22 draw.
Rubin Kazan continue their winning four-games streak as they notched a
2-1 home win against Tom. David Kvirkvelia and Sergei Semak took his club
2-0 lead and Tom managed to cut the gap to 2-1 through Mladenov's penalty
strike.
Dynamo Moscow grabbed 2-0 win over Spartak Nalchik away to get to the
second place in the standings. Alexander Dimidko and Fernando scored once
each to build a 2-0 victory.
Lokomotiv sealed a dramatic comeback victory over Saturn in Ramenskoe
to occupy the third spot in the table.
Saturn went ahead on the 9th minute thanks to Topic's efforts, but Diniyar
Bilyaletdinov got the teams equal only in the second half of the match
when he converted the penalty kick and Dmitry Sychev put the final stop
to the game five minutes before the referee's whistle.
