ARSHAVIN WINS ZVEZDA AWARD IN MARCH
Andrei Arshavin won the sport Express Zvezda award in March leaving
behind Anatoly Tymoschuk and Maxim Shatskikh.

Zenit playmaker and one of the Russian team leaders Andrei
Arshavin became the best player in Russia and CIS and Baltic countries
in March.
Arshavin's teammate Anatoly Tymoschuk, who won Zvezda in February, finished
the second with sixteen points behind the first place.
Maxim Shatskikh came the third with 32 points, while Arshavin got 64 points
from the journalists.
Andrei's mother Tatyana Arshavina spoke to Sport Express about her famous
son and his affection to football.
"Andrei liked football so much that he could sacrifice everything
only to have an opportunity to do his favorite job", said Tatyana.
"The schedule was very tough, however it didn't stop my son."
"I understood that football meant everything to Andrei and he always
showed good results in school."
