The Russian Premier Liga Matchday 6 was opened with bottom-places
teams Shinnik and Khimki clash on Friday while Saturday program will start
with Krylya Sovetov vs. Tom encounter.
Moscow stadiums Torpedo and Luzhniki will stage two derbies as FC Moskva
entertain one of the title race leaders Dynamo.
The home side occupy the last but one position in the standings while
their city rivals are second with thirteen points in five games.
CSKA take on Lokomotiv on Sunday with a hope to end their unsuccessful
run and rehabilitate themselves in front of their supporters for the lost
points in recent games.
The defending champions Zenit St. Petersburg travel to Ramenskoe to come
up against Saturn.
The UEFA Cup semifinalists also disappoint their fans with poor results
in the Russian campaign so they will look to grab a win and put a stop
to the failing streak.
Spartak Moscow play Spartak Nalchik away in hope to steal three points
and improve the situation in the standings.
The leaders Rubin Kazan welcome the fourth placed Amkar as they want to
continue their wining run comprising of five games already while the visitors
are eager to be the first team to deprive Kazan club of three points.
In the last game of the weekend Premier Liga debutants Terek host Luch-Energiya.
