Kazan team took a surprising eight-points lead over their
competitors as they handed a 2-0 defeat to Dynamo Moscow away in Premier
Liga Matchday 7 opening clash on Friday.
The hosts were striving to beat their Moscow rivals and extend their winning
streak which now goes to seven games.
Davin Kvirkvelia fired in an opener on the 28th minute and Sergei Semak
delivered the final blow to Dynamo seven minutes later.
Only wonder could help Dynamo make a comeback and now they share the second
ranking with Lokomotiv Moscow who found it tough to defeat Spartak Nalchik
at home and tied the match in goalless draw.
CSKA Moscow made their supporters happy as they traveled to Vladivostok
to steal three points from Luch-Energiya.
The first half was a close-run affair as the hosts were the first to score
thanks to Buliga's strike.
It took CSKA Brazilian striker only two minutes to equalize the score
while his compatriot Vagner Love took his side ahead two minutes before
going to the lockers.
Evgeny Aldonin was the last scorer for Valery Gazzaev's club as he found
the target late in the second half of the game.
Spartak Moscow threw their supporters into confusion with obscure performance
in Sunday match against FC Moskva.
Both sides didn't impress their fans who came to Luzhniki stadium and
the first goal came from Spartak halfback Alexander Pavlenko only ten
minutes to the second half. Ektor Brakamonte replied for Moskva making
the score 1-1 which didn't satisfied both teams.
Saturn snatched an away 1-0 win over FC Tom with Dyurica being the only
scorer of the match. Amkar defeated Premier Liga newcomers Shinnik 2-0,
FC Khimki snatched the first victory this season as they beat Krylya Sovetov
1-0.
