"I underline that unlike Soviet time our championship
is not divided into two halves and we don't determine spring and autumn
champions", said Byshovets. That's why my conclusions are preliminary.
"Nevertheless I see a tendency is Moskva's success. I think that
Miodrag Bozovic take on the coaching work in the club in a very interesting
time. Oleg Blokhin worked in the team last year and after his quit they
were in a strange psychological state".
"On one hand the team was depressed and on the other hand they were
strained and ready to slip out of Premier league".
"The new coach managed to catch this state and used it for the good.
Moreover Bozovic gave a chance for the second-choice players to redeem
for their previous failures after Godunok, Kuzmin, Bystrov, Ivanov and
several other players quitted the team".
"Following Euro-2008 almost all teams used Spanish system '4-3-3',
which resembles handball, when players passes the ball and search for
a moment for attacks. This scheme is interesting as it could be easily
transformed into '4-5-1' when wingers switch closer to defence and act
as midfielders".
"Fate of Kazan club in the Champions League worries me very much.
Rubin has some problems mainly with offensive play. Dominguez comeback
helped them, however they still need to reinforce their attacking line".
"If Rubin doesn't acquire new strikers in summer transfer period,
I'm afraid that their Champions League journey won't be successful".
"Spartak went to vacations on the third place in the standings. I
suppose that Michael Laudrup's quit became a turning moment for them,
as Valery Karpin headed the team. In Russia principles of one-man management
are very strong and we talk about Spartak, which enjoyed their best time
when Oleg Romantsev combined all posts in the club".
"CSKA supporters are concerned with the situation with Alan Dzagoev,
who has been uncapped from the first team roster, but I suppose their
worries are not grounded. Talking about this player we need to take into
consideration several points".
"First of all it was Valery Gazzaev who unveiled Dzagoev's talent.
And this young player needs some time to get used adaptation to requirements
of new head coach".
"Secondly Zico trusted him at the start of the season, however it
was not very fruitful period for the player. To my mind switch from the
youth team to the senior national team also affected his performance".
"And finally there is one more important detail. I heard that CSKA
hold talks with Dzagoev about the new contract. We should remember about
it too".
"To my mind it's a big mistake to consider Dzagoev as an outcast.
He is the future of CSKA and I am sure that soon he will overcome crisis
situation".
