Today Spartak is expected to start the training session
in Austria. Ahead of the team's departure Sport Express spoke to one of
leaders of the Red-and-Whites Vladimir Bystrov.
"I think that this summer break will be very helpful for us",
said Bystrov.
"Coaches gave a special program, which we should have fulfilled during
the vacations to keep our form".
"Moreover we have two weeks before the championship restart and we
will have a preparation camp where we will do everything necessary to
return to our peak form".
"When you celebrate victories with your team and get pleasure from
playing football, you treat your partners differently".
"Positive result is the best way to improve relations in the team.
It also helps us take losses less seriously".
"Michael Laudrup is not a bad coach, he just didn't manage to incorporate
his views on football in Spartak".
"Fortunately I shook off all my injuries and passes pre-season preparations
with the team. After that I caught the playing rhythm, while last year
it was very hard to do".
"As for the national team, I don't think that I left it. I just was
not perfectly fit for the matches and didn't get a callup for the previous
training camp".
"I returned to the national side, but the main thing is that we won
and continued the race for the European championship berth".
